Folgte 1949 seinem Vater Piero auf den Lehrstuhl für Wirtschaftsgeographie an der Fakultät für Wirtschaftswissenschaften in Turin. Ab 1962 war er Dekan der Fakultät für Wirtschaftswissenschaften und Handel und bekleidete von 1964 bis zu seinem Tod das Amt des Prorektors der Universität von Turin. 1969 wurde er zum Nachfolger von R.
