Biblio: Dr Eng Netra joined the Governance Unit in 2003. Her first stint as unit head was in 2006-08 and the second started in 2014 on her return from doctoral studies. Dr Eng has extensive fieldwork experience and has been researching and writing about governance, decentralisation and the politics of public sector reforms in Cambodia for over a decade now. She has completed several major research projects under the PORDEC and Kechnay program, including studies on “The Challenges of Decentralisation Design”, “Fiscal Decentralisation Reform”, “Accountability and Neopatrimonialism”, “Leadership in Local Politics”, and recently ‘Social Accountability in Cambodia’. She has also authored and co-authored several journal articles and book chapters. Dr Eng holds a PhD in political science from Monash University, a degree earned while on Australian Leadership Award program in 2010-13. Her current projects include an edited book titled the Unfolding Impact of a New Generation of Young Cambodians on Society and Politics
