Biblio: Political philosopher who specializes in liberal theory and contemporary challenges to it, ethics and public policy, international justice, the authority of international institutions, and environmental ethics. Lecturer in International Politics at King’s College London in the Department of Political Economy. Before joining King’s, Carmen was an Associate Professor and the Associate Director at the Center for the Philosophy of Freedom at the University of Arizona, with a courtesy appointment in the Department of Philosophy. She received her Ph.D. from Brown University and then served as a postdoctoral fellow and lecturer in the Program in Political Philosophy, Policy and Law at the University of Virginia.
