Michael R. Strain is an American economist. He is currently the Director of Economic Policy Studies and the Arthur F. Burns Scholar in Political Economy at the American Enterprise Institute. He is also a research fellow at the IZA Institute of Labor Economics, and a columnist for Project Syndicate.
