Seit 1976 gleichzeitig Geschäftsführer des Josef-Humar-Institut e.V., Institut für Wohnungseigentum und Wohnungsrecht (Düsseldorf). Autor von zahlreichen Fachpublikationen zum Wohnungseigentum (u.a. „Ratgeber zum Wohnungseigentum“, aktuell 8. Auflage), Autor und Mitherausgeber von Fachzeitschriften, Schriftenreihen und Festschriften, Referent und Leiter zahlreicher Seminare und Fortbildungsveranstaltungen zum Wohnungseigentum in wohnungswirtschaftlichen Verbänden und Verwaltungsunternehmen.
