Biblio: Annette Breckwoldt works as post-doc at the Leibniz Centre for Tropical Marine Research (ZMT) in Bremen (Germany), where she is leading the German part of the binational SOCPacific project (A Sea of Connections: contextualizing fisheries in the South Pacific region). She is also guest scientist for science-stakeholder interaction processes at the Alfred-Wegener-Institute Helmholtz Center for Polar and Marine Research (AWI) in Bremerhaven (Germany). Annette's PhD was on interdisciplinary aspects of community-based management of inshore Fijian fishing grounds. Research interests include: social-ecological systems, inter- and transdisciplinarity, coastal management, small-scale fisheries, local marine resource use and management realities, environmental perceptions, small islands.
