Biblio: Brit.-kanad. Geograph. Teilnehmer an der Terra Nova Expedition von Robert Falcon Scott 1910-1913. Ab 1916 an der University of Sydney und 1921 Extraordinarius der University of Sydney im Fachbereich Geographie, dessen Gründungsdirektor er war. Ab 1929 Professur für Geographie an der University of Chicago, 1936 wechselte er an die University of Toronto, an der er bis zu seiner Emeritierung im Jahr 1951 tätig war. Von 1941 bis 1942 war er Präsident der American Association of Geographers.

  • Thomas Griffith "Grif" Taylor (1 December 1880 – 5 November 1963) was an English-born geographer, anthropologist and world explorer. He was a survivor of Captain Robert Scott's Terra Nova Expedition to Antarctica (1910–1913). Taylor was a senior academic geographer at universities in Sydney, Chicago, and Toronto.
