Biblio: Scott Farrell has chaired the Australian Government’s FinTech Advisory Group, has been a member of the Ministerial Advisory Council on Free Trade Agreement negotiations, and has served on the Government’s advisory board for innovation, research, and science matters. Scott Farrellled the two inquiries which designed the framework for Australia’s Consumer Data Right and open banking and chaired the Government’s review into the regulatory architecture of Australia’s payments system. Scott Farrell is an Adjunct Professor of the School of Private and Commercial Law, UNSW Sydney. He was awarded his doctorate for research into the legal structure of data sharing frameworks and the relationship between money, payments and data, work which is published in his book - “Banking on Data”.
