  • Amos Jenkins Peaslee II (March 24, 1887 – August 30, 1969) was an American politician, military official, author and diplomat who served as the United States Ambassador to Australia under President of the United States Dwight D. Eisenhower. Peasee served as a United States Army Major in World War I and as Commander in the United States Navy during World War II.
