    1986 - Bernhard Harms Prize

    Warner Max Corden AC (born 13 August 1927) is an Australian economist. He is mostly known for his work on the theory of trade protection, including the development of the dutch disease model of international trade. He has also been active in the fields of international monetary systems, macroeconomic policies of developing countries and Australian economics. Corden, originally German, emigrated from Nazi Germany to Melbourne in 1939. (Source: DBPedia)
